Vancouver, WA

Living in Portland gave me the opportunity to explore many different areas in Oregon & Washington State. Vancouver was only a 10-minute drive from the house I was living in and I would visit often as they had the cutest farmer’s market on the weekend. The Vancouver Waterfront is a newly developed and offers many restaurants, shops, walking paths, and stunning views of Mount Hood.

They have murals everywhere and the cutest coffee shops. The short drive made it easy to go spend the afternoon enjoy the landscapes and vibrate and colorful streets.

If you’re in the Vancouver area check out Joe Brown’s Cafe for delicious all American breakfast, just don’t expect to find grits, it’s pretty much non-exiting.
